Based in Cochrane, Alberta, Emily has a BA in Psychology from the University of Calgary, and a Master of Counselling from City University of Seattle (Calgary).
Emily has several years of experience as a Child and Youth Care Counsellor as well as experience as a Child Development Mentor. Complimented by her experiences as a volunteer mentor to high risk youth and work as a Crisis Responder for the Kids Help Phone, Emily has volunteered for various other organizations that involve working with youth and adolescents in support roles, as well as with elderly residents with neurocognitive disorders.
With supporting education that includes suicide prevention, working with clients with trauma, and managing challenging behaviours in youth, Emily brings a wealth of knowledge and real world experience to her sessions.
